    Responsibilities

     

    • Drive sales through demonstrated expert knowledge transfer, leadership, gaining trust and influencing team members nationally.
    • Coordinate and drive targeted segment sales strategy launches including working with sales team, executives, and other team members
    • Translate segment strategy into detailed requirements and prototype and scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
    • Successfully develop and lead the commercial strategy for Hazardous Materials program
    • Develop pricing and positioning strategies in conjunction with sales leaders and senior executive teams.
    • Explore & develop methodologies of improving existing services and products as a way of increasing profitability in line with budgets
    • Research market perpetually ensuring personal and business expertise is developed
    • Interface with business and customers to identify and fill product gaps and generate new initiatives and ideas that ensure market share growth and improved customer experience
    • Motivate and establish buy-in for the segment vision both internally and with key external partners
    • Act as a category segment evangelist to build awareness and understanding
    • Keep abreast of competition messaging, collateral and websites and drive proactive messaging/out bound marketing strategies
    • Monitor and analyse market trends studying competitors’ services and products
    • Develop training materials, execute face to face training
    • Interface with US Marketing to provide product training materials, relevant clinical papers, printed and electronic promotional material and the necessary technical expertise to sales team
    • Create and review high quality presentations from internal and external sources for use across the organization
    • Regularly host reviews at different levels of the organization and work across the team to define strategies for improvement of messaging
    • Develop scorecards, reporting systems and administration tools to facilitate constant visibility of sales pipeline, opportunities and delivered financial outcomes

    Qualifications

     

    • Minimum 10 years experience in clinical healthcare industry
    • Substantial experience in healthcare sales environment
    • Strong project management skills, ability to create frameworks to structure processes, strategies, projects and programs
    • Results focused, versatile, organized and has impeccable people management and development skills with a “down to earth” communication style
    • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
    • Capable of aligning multiple stakeholders to support new ways of working
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable experience with high quality, logical and creative writing, the capability to turn general concepts into clear, compelling stories for a variety of audiences
    • Practical – hands on with proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
    • Ability to understand marketing trends, articulate how they impact your strategic roadmap and translate to ensure they drive innovation
