  • Overview

    This is a cross-functional, future oriented business role, supporting commercial decision making by performing financial analysis and providing meaningful recommendations to Senior Management and representatives of other functions.

    Responsibilities

    Assist the Regional Commercial Finance Manager in driving profitable growth for the region

    • Carry out financial analysis of customer opportunities at the planning stage to support commercial decisions; determine pricing
    • Support contract negotiations, ensure input cost risk & terms are sufficiently mitigated in customer’s contract terms & conditions
    • Provide reports & analysis to sales team with financial insight
    • Assist improving cash flow by resolving AR questions of customers, review flagged invoices
    • Help manage, evaluate, prioritize and develop pipeline of opportunities
    • Travel up to 10-15% domestically

    Assist the Regional Commercial Finance Manager driving profitable growth for the region

    • Assist in developing budget, 5 year planning and setting goals
    • Develop Case Study on business improvement initiatives in order to identify suitable prioritization
    • Quantification & recording of profit improvement projects
    • Support management of subcontractor relationships
    • Help the Operations team's expense control goals by providing financial analysis and insight
    • Champion process and workflow improvement initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Mathematics 
    • 0-5 Years Experience within financial analysis
    • Microsoft Office Suite - well-versed in excel especially
    • Availability to travel 10-15% domestically
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
