    Job Description


    The Supplier QA Engineer (Australia) will participate in the planning, monitoring and reporting on quality related performance procurement processes, ensuring these have been effectively planned, documented, communicated and implemented. Additionally, this role will focus on ensuring zero defects to customers, work with both internal and external stakeholders through the management of Non Conformance and Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA), will assist in continuous improvement projects and support the Quality System Coordinator in ensuring the compliance of Daniels Quality Management System (QMS) to the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Good Manufacturing Practices (21CFR820) and other company policies.

    Joining our passionate and high energy Product Team, you will have a hand in a variety of quality assurance,  quality system management, supplier management and new product development functions ranging from process improvement to projects and new initiatives.

    Desired Skills And Experience

    • Bachelor of Engineering.
    • 4+ years’ experience in a similar quality orientated role.
    • Able to analyse processes and technical information.
    • Experience with plastics and in a manufacturing environment is a must.
    • Experience with the FDA 21CFR820 or ISO13485 would be an advantage but not a necessity.
    • Practical – hands on with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
    • Exposure to Solidworks would be an advantage
    • Excellent personal and communication skills. 
    • Naturally skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
    • Able to analyse processes and technical information.
    • Flexibility to travel internationally where required.
    • Well-developed communications skills with the ability to relate effectively with a wide range of people, positively influencing outcomes and obtaining cooperation
    • Well organised with the ability to plan work, cope with conflicting work pressures, establish appropriate priorities, and meet deadlines
    • A sense of humour, self-confidence and the ability to think on your feet
    • Support overall effectiveness of the business by modeling behaviour consistent with company values
