    Job Description

     

     

    As QA Engineer you will participate in the planning, monitoring and reporting on quality related performance of the product design and procurement processes, ensuring these have been effectively planned, documented, communicated and implemented. Additionally, this role will focus on ensuring zero defects to customers, work with both internal and external stakeholders through the management of Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA), will assist in continuous improvement projects and ensure the compliance of Daniels quality management system (QMS) to the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Good Manufacturing Practices (21CFR820) and other company policies.

     

    Joining our passionate and high energy Product Team, you will have a hand in a variety of quality assurance,  quality system management, supplier management and new product development functions ranging from process improvement to projects and new initiatives.

    Desired Skills And Experience

     

    • Bachelor of Engineering 
    • 5- 7 years’ experience in a similar quality orientated role
    • Excellent level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
    • Able to analyse processes and technical information.
    • Experience with plastics and in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
    • Experience with the FDA 21CFR820 or ISO14385 would be an advantage.
    • Practical – hands on with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
    • Exposure to Solidworks would be an advantage
    • Naturally skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.
    • Flexibility to travel internationally where required.
    • Well-developed communications skills with the ability to relate effectively with a wide range of people, positively influencing outcomes and obtaining cooperation
    • Well organized with the ability to plan work, cope with conflicting work pressures, establish appropriate priorities, and meet deadlines
    • A sense of humor, self-confidence and the ability to think on your feet
    • Support overall effectiveness of the business by modeling behavior consistent with company values
