Overview

Business Manager is responsible for providing a high level of negotiation and solution selling to new and current customers across the territory to build a strong and profitable sales pipeline. The territory will cover the greater Montreal area. The position requires a high level of understanding of the interrelationships of multiple customer departments and committees with potential and existing customers. This individual will also be required to have an extensive knowledge base and previous experience dealing with the province of Quebec purchasing procedures, and Group Purchasing Organizations.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Achieve sales quotas for the territory as set by the company. Key target markets are:
    • Acute Care Facilities
    • Medium Quantity Generator, blood banks, dialysis centers, cancer centers, etc.
    • Large Quantity Generators, hospitals and key accounts
  • Develop a business plan for the territory using SalesForce.com as the basis for the plan, detailing key targets, etc.
  • Using the Business Plan developed for the territory, formulate an effective customer call strategy to maximize opportunities in the territory, utilizing Salesforce.com as the primary Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
  • Utilizes pipeline management to ensure sales plan is met and all opportunities are recorded in Salesforce.com
  • In conjunction with the Regional Manager, constantly review all sales activities, targets, and strategies in order to maximize results
  • Act as a main point of contact with current customers to ensure that all expectations and service requirements have been achieved
  • Continually develop relationships with current customer base to increase revenue and profitability through obtaining upsell opportunities 
  • Performs other duties as may be required by Management
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis of the territory for the Senior Management Team
  • Develop tactics and strategies to develop long-term commitment with key current and potential customers
  • Attend all sales and product related meetings
  • Participate in the sales planning, sales strategies, territorial coverage, and budgeting processes

Qualifications

  • BS, BA Four Year Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience sales, account management and customer service experience required; selling/working with customers within a medical facility considered a strong asset
  • Must be able to professionally present the features, advantages, and clinical benefits of all our products and to compare their performance with competitive products
  • Bilingualism is considered a strong asset
  • Solutions selling experience
  • Experience utilizing SalesForce 
  • Computer literacy skills, especially in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Comfortable with travelling and working remotely/independently
