As well as being dominant in our market we are also in a very stable industry, with customers ranging from hospitals, clinics, vets, pharmaceutical companies, and more. 



  • Support Driver Supervisor where possible with pre-departure support; load trucks, double check manifests & routes, quality check transporters and brief employees, hold tail gate safety meeting with drivers weekly
  • Assist in the training of newly hired Delivery Representatives.
  • Ensure drivers manage routing to ensure maximum productivity; keep within assigned route and raise issues where required
  • Maintain inter-departmental communication between our plant operations, sales, and field operations teams
  • Observe driver conduct and performance, to include competence evaluations and performance reviews.


  • Fill in and driving for Drivers while Drivers are out on vacation, sick, or other



  • Work with administration and production staff to ensure accurate and efficient creation of manifests
  • End of day debrief with drivers; identify issues, leads, trends
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with roadworthiness, vehicle cleanliness and appropriate driver operation



•        Assist with the collection of transportation data used to monitor KPI and driver efficiencies.


  • Be pro-active in assisting with the development of safe work practices
  • Responsible for ensuring driver compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and principles and rectify any non-conformance or matters of concern regarding Health and Safety and Environmental matters
  • Ensure minimal errors are made and high quality of customer service delivered
  • Responsible for the quality assurance of smart containers being unloaded and loaded into trucks pre and post trip


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BA or BS in management, transportation or related field preferred
  • Class A CDL preferred
  • 2+ years in a hands-on management role or proven informal leadership preferred
  • Self-motivated, proven problem solver, team player with excellent communication skills
  • Customer oriented/focused
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
  • Strong safety advocate/leader who promotes associate well-being
  • A sound pattern of using facts and data to solve problems and make difficult decisions
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Excel/Suite is a plus
  • Willing to travel as needed
